I entered the cave.
"Did you bring me what I asked for?"
"Here." I handed her the bag.
"Where are the sanitary pads."
"They were out." I lied. I didn't ask for them. I was too embarrassed.
..."You could buy them yourself, you know."
"I can't. I'm Bat Girl."
It was true.
