Herbie Hancock's Mwandishi band sound really opened up and became increasingly spaced out with the addition of Patrick Gleason on synthesizer... We're lucky to have so much live Matching Mole available... they were consistently excellent, offering tantalizing glimpses of possible directions Robert Wyatt's inventive drumming could have taken, before his accident...
